The location is exquisite - the grounds are magical with winding paths and magnificent trees - my only regret was that because of our golf schedule we didn't have more time to wander!

We played several courses in the area all within 15 minutes to 2 hours from the house which made the location ideal for a golf trip.The house was the perfect size for 10 of us including our driver. The bathrooms are all updated and the bedrooms were beautifully appointed with wonderful fabrics and linens. The library and sitting room had fabulous fireplaces that we enjoyed in the early evenings after a long day on the links.

The staff went out of its way to be helpful and welcoming. I would definitely use the services of their cook. I was in constant contact with the owner in planning the trip - he could not have been more accommodating. He genuinely cares for the property and seemed to enjoy sharing it with people who appreciate how special it is.

The house has a wonderful intimacy but with plenty of room for everyone to have their privacy too, which was perfect when we had friends to stay as guests. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and the owners have clearly spent a great deal of time and thought installing tasteful modern bathrooms and kitchen fittings.
